Getting the Better of Ingrown Hairs and Razor Bumps

Us African American males will almost always be prone to ingrown hairs, as a consequence of how our hairs are naturally curly, therefore likely to curl back into the skin. I, myself, never had a worry with ingrown hairs until a short while ago. I'm not sure whether it was a problem with the barbers, or whether it was just nature, but I recall a week after visiting a barber to have my hair cut, i begun to get bumps on the rear of my head.

At that time, a pal told me this might have been caused on account of the clippers not being cleaned properly after they were last used. I feel this to be the case, as previous to that barbers visit, I never had this matter. I seemed to get more bumps on the rear of my head by the day, and it wasn't helped by me brushing my hair, or my hairs growing and curling back into the skin, as this would only irritate what bumps I currently had, causing them to get infected and appear even worse, not forgetting the pain involved after i accidentally brushed against them.

I done a great amount of research online, and found one of the better ways to reduce ingrown hairs was to employ a solution called ‘Tend Skin'. Tend Skin works for all races. I purchased it for under $20, and began using it twice daily, once each morning and again in the evening. After roughly a week, I started to notice what ingrown hair bumps I did have, began to dry out (due to the alcohol as well as other chemicals inside the Tend Skin solution) and finally shrink, almost disappearing.

This continued for some time, however the bumps didn't totally disappear until I done something drastic. Now, the last thing you'd look into doing if you suffer from painful bumps on the back of your head, is to shave the hair again, as you'd cut back into the bumps, making them worse, but this is exactly what I had to do in order to clear up my razor bumps. The thing is that, the longer you leave the hair uncut, the longer it grows, and the more chance you have of it curling back into the skin again, making the existing razor bumps worse, and contributing to more razor bumps because the hair goes back into the skin, and then infects the skin pore, producing another bump.

You need to reduce the risk of the hair growing back into the skins surface, in conjunction with using Tend Skin, which is proven to eliminate razor bumps. If you should follow these steps for only a month, you'll observe that your bumps have shrunk, and practically disappeared.
