The New Braun Series 7- 790cc Pulsonic Electric Shaver is the top of the line model in the Braun stable. It uses the most advanced technology for a complete and comfortable shave. The secret lies in the innovating Pulsonic Technology. What is the Pulsonic Technology you ask? Well, the shaver's active head oscillates at over 10,000 micro vibrations per minute, which helps to deliver a comfortable, close shave. With every stroke it enables you to capture more hair.
There are improvements over the previous models, such as the trimmer that folds nicely away into a stylish and rubber-accented grip. It also has a clean silver look with a nice blue LED accent. The base is shaped well and looks sturdy for being made of plastic. You honestly couldn't buy a better-looking shaver.

The Best Electric Razor Ever Made
"This is the closest shave I've ever had with an electric razor. There's no doubt: this razor shaves as close as a manual blade. The shave is perfect. Even getting the hairs on my neck are no problem.
There is no razor burn. That was actually a slight problem for me on the Series 5, but it is gone with the Series 7.
The motor is very quiet and the actual shave is very smooth. There's no tugging of hairs or any other discomfort that some electric razors have. Everything is just so smooth, even when I shaved on two days worth of stubble. Still great."

The Bad & The Ugly
- Pop out trimmer isn't as wide as previous models
- Trimmer has odd angle (hard to see where you're trimming)
- Shaver looks ergonomic, but is hard to hold firmly in hand
- Unnecessary cleaning solution
- Travel case holds shaver only, not charging cord
- With cleaning base, takes up a lot of space on countertop
Overall, the Braun's Series 7- 790cc Pulsonic Shaver System provides you with a perfectly thorough and comfortable shave – with the most innovative shaving technology.
Note: Up until Nov 2010 Braun provided a 90-day guarantee if you don't like the shaver. This has now been reduced to a 60-day guarantee. However that's still enough time to give it a thorough workout, so if you're on the fence, give it a try.
