What it does
Smooth Away claims to leave the skin feeling "so soft and incredibly smooth." The Hair Removal Pads have ‘superfine crystals' that can painlessly and quickly smooth "away unwanted hair in moments." Essentially, it requires the use of the handle – called the applicator – and the buff pads, to remove unwanted hair. It's a universal hair removal system, which essentially means that the product can work on the face, legs, arms, and even bikini area. The Hair Removal Pads, together with the applicator are applied in a rotary or sweeping motion to roll and twist out hair out of the follicle.
The largest benefit comes in its ‘no nicks and cuts' promise. As compared to razors, hair removal pads do not require shaving creams and other expensive chemical agents. It saves you money and time instead of buying razors. Another upside of is in its non-scented, no-mess, and pain-free application. Unlike smelly depilatory creams and other hair dissolving systems, it only requires the simplicity of a pad and the applicator to remove unwanted hair.
The verdict
I have sensitive skin and very coarse leg hairs. I can say that Smooth Away works. It was painless and only took seconds. It even worked in my bikini area. Best results were achieved going in only one circular direction. When you use it, don't have moist or damp legs and don't use lotion or any other chemicals on your skin, it must be clean and dry. It's not laser surgery, but it's not supposed to be.
