Tips to having the world's smoothest legs
Chances are you've been shaving several times a week (or even daily!) for years. And chances are great that you're still not getting a perfect shave. This doesn't mean you're a klutz or that you should switch to another, costlier hair removal method. Because with the right tools and some smooth new techniques you can get really smooth legs from a razor.
Choose the best razor for you designed for women. Men's razors are made to accomodate the short, jerky movements they use when shaving,while women's razors are designed for longer strokes along our legs.
Get razors that are refillable, There is a performance gap that makes it worth investing in a refillable razor. It's very hard to get all that sophisticated technology into a throw away plastic razor. Use the less expensive disposables only for the gym or when you travel.
Clean your blade often, meaning after three or four shaves. Nothis is less effective than a dullblade. As the edge wears away the blade is more likely to snag the skin, causing nicks and irritation. Twin blades are the best. You need to lather the right way. A lubricating shaving gel or cream works best. Never use bar soap. Spend two to three minutes in the shower before shaving. Water softens hair.
Use long,smooth strokes up the leg. Shave carefully. If you have problem,irritated, razor-burned skin, you may be pressing too hard against your skin with the razor and/or using a blade that's too dull.Smooth on a lition that contains aloe vera. Avoid lotions that contain alcohol and fragrance. Exfoliate. Try one of those loofa sponges and use an exfoliating formula.
