Matching Nurses With The Best Supplies And Resources
While there certainly are plenty of excellent nursing resources that people can now take advantage of, making sure that nurses get the right type of supplies is a completely different situation. Even nurses with years of experience can sometimes find it to be a little challenging to know exactly which resources and supplies will best serve their particular professional responsibilities and personal needs. This is especially true of beginner nurses new to their medical clinic or hospital. Non-Certified Aides and Personal Care Aides
Not all of our daily medical heroes work in established medical clinics or hospitals. There are many nurses that provide high quality care to people in their homes. Among the more common titles for such positions are non-certified aides, personal care aides, home helpers, personal care aides, homemakers and even companions. These medical positions most usually entail a great deal of custodial, supportive and long term personal care services. These non certified aide and personal care aide positions may vary from providing home health patients with general routine personal care services to intensive daily procedures that are vital to a patient's health and wellness. Because of this, this unique type of nurse will need a distinct set of resources and nurse supplies to help them best server their patients. This can even include access to simple items such as plus size scrubs since many nurses dealing with people who are homebound have been found to have patients with larger body weights. In addition, there are also plenty of daily assistance items that these types of nurses find to be extra helpful in providing their patients with a more convenient, less taxing lifestyle.
Certified Nurse's Aides (CNA)
Another one of the more common, yet still quite invaluable areas of nursing are certified nurse's aides (also referred to as CAN's). Since these nurses are certified they are able to take on some more intensive procedures and medical tasks. With a greater range of tasks that they are responsible for, these certified nurses aides have found it to be especially helpful to have access to products that will help them to successfully complete certain diagnostic tasks. Some of the more helpful items that these nurses have found especially helpful are blood pressure products, reflex hammer, various electrodes, glucose monitoring systems and more.
Registered Nurses (RN)
Registered Nurses (RNs) are required to complete a great deal of intensive education courses and must pass some demanding state level exams. But their reward is being able to provide their patients with a much higher level of care that includes a much greater range of procedures and nursing care. This means that these special types of nurses will commonly need many of the same medical supplies as physicians often do. And these can include everything from nursing supplies that range from back and neck therapy products to mobility products.
