If you have been shaving, you may have noticed thick hair growing back quickly, but with threading, you will get the opposite of that with thin hair growing back slowly within the two weeks after. Not just with shaving, but you will also notice fast growth with waxing since waxing does not pull out each eyebrow hair from the follicle like threading does. Don't be afraid of getting your hair pulled out by threading; it does not hurt as bad as it may seem, especially because the thread is closely placed to your skin and the hair is pulled out from the root where you won't be able to notice.
