Greet Your Morning With the Braun 8985 Electric Shaver
Greet your morning with a clean fresh shave using the latest Braun 8985 Electric Shaver or Braun Series 5. This is considered as one of the finest shavers available in the market today and promises to give men and women a thorough and perfect shave. The 8985 is an improved version of the Activator with all its normal functions that guarantee to give you the same clean shave you get with every use but with added comfort and convenience.
The Braun 8985 was designed to answer the shaving issues from other electric shavers. The exclusive Braun Power Comb Technology lifts up the hair that sticks to the skin which is often missed when the blade passes thru especially in areas that are hard to reach. It comes combined with the Gillette Blade Technology that cuts hair closely to the skin in just a single pass without the tugging or pulling at it that puts you at the risk of skin irritations. The unique SmartFoil Pattern was designed with several holes to catch hair that is growing in different directions without the need to twist and turn the shaver. Whether it may be a week's unshaved growth or just overnight stubble, its 3-stage Cutting System will ensure that it will be shaved off with just a single pass for easy to reach areas and possibly two to three passes at the most for those difficult to reach areas.
Cleaning the Braun 8985 is a breeze with its Clean & Renew System. This self-cleaning system automatically selects the setting and the shaver will get rid of your shaved hairs and debris with an alcohol based cleaning solution. This solution gets rid of bacteria and will hinder its growth to prevent infection or irritation to your skin the next time you use it. This system also automatically dries the shaver and lubricates the blades to make it ready for the next use. If you want the added assurance by doing the cleaning yourself, the shaver can also be washed manually.
Travel will never be a problem with its built-in automatic voltage adjustment system that allows you to use the Braun 8985 anywhere in the world with 100 to 240 volts power. It is equipped with Nickel-Hydride batteries that require typically 1 hour to fully charge or a quick charge of 3 to 5 minutes. A fully charged cell is enough for 50 minutes of shaving while a quick charge is enough for 1 shave of about 5 minutes. It does not have the LCD display, though of the Activator that would show the power and cleaning status. Instead, it has a LED that is green if the shaver is in charging mode and red if the power is low and charging is needed.
The whole bundle comes with a hard travel case that protects both shaver and charging dock while it is stored in your luggage.
Overall, this state-of-the-art shaver is durable, well-designed and its improved features makes it a better shaver than the predecessors and has lived up to the Braun promise of quality and efficiency.
